Sihanoukville, Cambodia Day 98
Slept in as Lee decided to finish his book last night…..he didn’t turn the lights off till about 4am!!!
We turned the TV on and flicked onto the Australia Network channel and Hawthorn were playing the Lions in Launceston. I found out from mum yesterday that herself, Dad, Paul, Nicky & Ethan were all going to the game! Strange to be in Cambodia watching a game of footy that your family are at in Tassie!! With the aircon on 23 and the sky outside looking very similar to home (raining & gloomy), I could be in the same country! Accept my outside temperature is probably about 30 and Tassie would be…..bloody cold!!
At half time we went across the road to Mick & Craig’s for brunch, I had bread with peanut butter and jam, Lee had French toast. Our tuk-tuk driver that took us to dinner the other night was outside so we have booked him for 7.20am in the morning to take us to the bus station.
The day was very average, we hung out at Beach Rd, Lee was playing on the net and I watched the rest of the game in the room. We went for our last spin around town on the Moto and took some pics of the town. We ended our tiki tour on Serendipity Beach at sunset having a cocktail.
Dinner was huge!!! We found that Mick & Craig’s do a $5 Sunday Roast…..and what a roast it was!! 2 PLATES!!! First filled with Pork, Yorkshire Puddings and crackling. Second baked potato, pumpkin, beetroot, garlic, small onions and mashed spuds, cauliflower cheese, mini baby bok choy and a combo of peas, beans, corn and carrot. Both plates covered with gravy…….what a meal!!!
after we rolled out of Mick & Craig’s we hopped on the net to check out places to stay in HCMC then back to the room to pack up our things.
