We finally became tourists today and checked out ‘Petronas Towers’ we didn’t go up just took some photos from the ground and spent a few hours in the shopping centre (KLCC) below it trying to find a pair of shoes to put my orthotics in. The shopping centre was amazing – think of any top end label and you are bound to find it in here Cartier, Rolex, Armani and one of the biggest book stores we have ever seen.

From here we checked out another shopping centre (retail therapy without even going into any shops). This place was huge ‘Berjaya Times Square’ it even has its own indoor amusement park with quite a good looking roller coaster so the kids can be dropped off and mum can shop to her hearts content! Great idea.

After all that retail therapy we decided to check out Chinatowns night market. This just helped us get seasoned for Thailand as every stall holder wanted to be our friend. We sat and a had a beer but no dinner as they place was just aimed at tourists so eating was average. Instead we headed back down near Central Market and had Roti at a great Indian restaurant/stall.

8 hours of walking we are absolutely buggered but my foot held out in my new runners!
