Well it has finally arrived……‘Mini Retirement’

I had my last day of work yesterday (Lee had already been finished for 2 weeks) so we are now both officially  unemployed bums (as we affectionately call each other now). My work threw a little Xmas Breakup/Farewell Party after we finished work yesterday which was great. Lee arranged his scheduled to fly back into Brisbane from Newcastle so he could be my sober driver as well as 3 of my work colleges (Lisa, Sandy & Lucinda).

My farewell gift from the crew was a box full of HiRum memorabilia as well as some Aussie bits & pieces.

It hasn’t really hit home yet that we are both unemployed – I don’t think it will really sink in until we have packed up the house and we are homeless and jobless (that happens on Monday January the 12th). There is soooo much to do between now and then, we haven’t even started packing up the house.
